Phil Anim, also known as the prolific Mampi Swift, started his career as a DJ and has been involved in the Drum N Bass scene since the early 90s. After landing a job at Lucky Spin records, Swift soon set up his own label called Charge Recordings which produced a chain reaction of big releases pushing the London based star to the top of the DnB tree. The release of his track ' The One ' in late 1997 cemented his place as one of the big names in the genre. Posted below are a few of my personal favourites by him, packed with double drops, huge bass lines and catchy beats. Make sure you check out 'Gangster' a serious tune.
