Although the Trap genre has arguably been over hyped, Flosstradamus continue to surprise with new EP under name of Nomads with DJ Sliink. 'Crowd Ctrl' has been leaked today for the first time I have seen, but 'Test Me' has been around since last summer yet being officially released alongside Crowd Control on 2nd April.

Swedish House Mafia Last Performance Ultra Music Festival Set 2013

Thankyou Swedish House Mafia. The trio Ingrosso, Angello and Axwell played their last show last night, on the final day of Ultra Music Festival. ' Good Evening Miami. My name is Axwell, this is Seb Ingrosso and Steve Angello - and we are still the Swedish House Mafia. ' Axwell's inspiring introduction brought back memories from December 2012 when myself and bloggers Mike and Hugh saw SHM in Paris. Words still can't describe how unbelievable that night was, easily one of the best experiences of my life and I would have paid any amount of money to see their last show at Ultra. Carnage & Flosstradamus Ultra 2013 Live Sets

With Ultra Music Festival premiering their ' TRAPPED OUT ' stage some of the biggest artists in the Trap genre turned out for 2 weekends of madness. Carnage and Flosstradamus go in hard with these energetic, aggressive and rigid sets, showcasing their immense talent. There has been a lot of talk about how the Trap industry has been hyped too quickly, and I agree that quality of the releases compared to 3-4 months ago has significantly decreased. However artists such as Gucci Mane, Rick Ross and RL Grime who helped renew the genre's recent success still keep the tunes pumping. Carnage drops a few new tracks in his set, especially the highly anticipated 'Deniz Koyu - Tung ( Carnage Festival Trap Remix )' The genius duo behind Flosstradamus deliver a huge set, full of their classic trap anthems, with tracks from Kendrick Lemar, DJ Snake and GTA. The hoodieboyz are certainly one act I would love to see live. Be sure to check these sets out, they won't disappoint!

Porter Robinson - Ultra Music Festival Live Set

Having listened to many of the Ultra sets from the comfort of my room on the other side of the Atlantic, i felt i had to draw attention to this particular set which for me is absolute genius. Porter Robinson is a perhaps the most famous DJ in the world to use the Traktor S4 style, a style that is criticised by vinyl purists and sync-haters the world over. With this set Porter slaps those idiots in the face, demonstrating exactly how this style of DJing should be used, rapidly switching from track to track, mixing different songs and firing off samples at a ridiculously fast paced rate, rarely pulling back for a calm moment.

Avicii announces possible album preview at Ultra tonight

With Swedish sensation Avicii playing at tonights UMF at 9pm local time, he made a huge announcement last night in the shape of new album plans. His facebook account revealed that he is planning on playing some of the tracks in his highly anticipated set tonight. Watch out for news tomorrow and the rest of the week regarding his announcement.

Eric Prydz, the Swedish DJ genius fresh off his spectacular BBC Essential Mix previews ' Power Drive ' packed with signature Pryda multi layered synths and beautifully colossal chord progressions. Eric Prydz is arguably one of the greatest disk - jockeys ever and his continuous consistent form and releases yet again cements him as a pioneer of progressive house. With Miami Music Week and the first weekend of Ultra Music Festival starting off this Friday, every dance fan around the world can expect huge things from this amazing festival, with new releases set to be played and an amazing lineup on show. 

Day One - White City

Not one to listen to much Drum and Bass, this song really hit it for me, with a really interesting vocal and great chilled out Monday vibe. It is probably noticeable that i'm big on the Monstercat label, but new releases like this one really sell it. Give it a listen!

Alesso Vs OneRepublic - If I Lose Myself ( Alesso Remix )
